A great way to start the weekend.
Welcome to sunny Jersey! want to take a walk along the beach with us? Hubby had a day off today, so we made the best of the weather and went for a walk along the Avenue, and St. Aubins beach.
The last few days of March look set to be nice and sunny and rather warm, and hopefully the rest of the summer will be much the same, because here in Jersey we have a lot to live up to you know, being apparently, the Warmest place in the British Isles Well it certainly felt good to be here today!
Happy weekend all, hope you have a good one!

Naked and Natural...wood that is..
All images Tandem.
Wood, in all its natural nakedness is hitting the lime light again, think natural blonde woods such as ash, birch, and beech, treated to let the natural colour show through, and made with today's living in mind.
Tandem, an interior architecture and furniture specialists, are a husband and wife team based in Devon who specialize in bespoke elegant designs, with a classic Scandinavian feel. The pieces are made using only sustainable woods and finished with natural oils, combining traditional methods of making furniture with the latest technology to bring simple, sleek timeless pieces for today's living.

How do you like the sound of high ceilings, lashings of natural light bounced off white walls with splashes of bold colour all wrapped up in a 19th century town house, yes?..me too.
This lovely house tour comes courtesy of The New York Times T Magazine (thanks for sharing) and show cases the 19th century London town house home of designer Harriet Anstruther, and photographer husband Henry Bourne. Its the perfect blend of old and new, with a bit of fun thrown in for good measure (check out the bathroom filled with pink light provided by a skylight)
The house tour is set to feature in this weekends special Design Issue of The New York Times T Magazine, were you will be able to read the full feature, but you can also see a preview here.
For me my favorite rooms would be the kitchen, filled with light and plenty of work space for family cooking, (seen above) and the first floor family room with its mix of large comfy sofas, one in a bright pink colour, modern art work and huge original windows, (seen here) though the powder room has its own certain appeal with its wacky wall paper. Do you spot a room that you could see yourself in?
