From one side of the world to the other.

Don't you love stopping by other peoples blogs just to see what is going on in their neck of the woods? I love the fact that I can be sitting in my living room on one side of the world, and can, with a click of a button visit another blog on the other side of the world just to catch up with a home re-design or diy project that some one is doing.

I had an email the other day regarding The Better Homes and gardens Network, they have a home improvement website for all do-it-yourselfers, and wanted to know if I Would be interested in sharing it with my lovely readers, well at first I wasn't sure of it because I'm blogging from the UK (a tiny Island called Jersey to be exact) and the website is for the US, but after considering where you all pop up from, (alot of US readers) I thought I would share it with you, so here you go, the site is DIYadvice.com and is the go-to home improvement website for all do-it-yourselfers, from the novice to the experienced, containing step-by-step detailed instruction on such lauded topics as:

plumbing - detailed instructions with photos and illustrations for making repairs, such as fixing clogged drains, installing a water filter, and of course installing a new bathroom.
Home electrical projects - instructions for hundreds of electrical repairs projects, along with detailed directions for new electrical installations, including fans and heaters, lamp sockets, and light fixtures.
Interior/exterior painting - instructions for painting the exterior and interior of one’s home; everything from removing wallpaper, painting interior windows, sliding doors, shutters, sidings, and even painting fences and gates is discussed.

For up-to-the-minute information on do-it-yourself home improvements, follow DIYadvice.com at twitter.com/DIYadvice.

Please Note: this site is a US site and there fore the imformation may not be suitable for UK uses!
