Over the next week or so I will be taking a look at Wall covering. It is said that us Brits just love magnolia paint to adorn the walls of our homes, partly due to the by -to -let market, and land lords playing safe. But if you do fancy a change from cream of beige for your decor just what else is there? Kicking off today is a product that started its life on the kitchen table of Hannah Colman, who had a vision of creating a loft apartment look to for new, new build home. Standing back and admiring her achievement, she wondered if this could sell to the interior design market, and shortly after in 2003 Dreamwall as born. DreamWall is now the leading UK wall covering specialist in Imitation Brick, Stone and Slate wall panels, and has been extensively used in the commercial market by retailers such as Fatface, and Helly Hansen. Its light weight and easy installation makes it just as appealing for the home, and my personal favourite is the grey slate effect from the Total stone range pictured above. Dream walls flag ship product is The Rustic brick range pictured below, this look was inspired by the many factory and mill conversions in the UK.
